In our apostolates

saint sacrement

Founded to "show forth the adoration of God," the Adorers of the Royal Heart have the vocation of supporting the priests of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest in their apostolates by their life of prayer and by their works.

We are therefore pleased to respond to the various requests from our canons from various parts of the world. From time to time, some sisters are sent to one apostolate or another to sing Holy Mass, to accompany a pilgrimage, to spend time with the children, to serve a retreat, etc....Image apostolat001

On the occasion of preparatory novenas (for example, for the feast of the Immaculate Conception or the Sacred Heart) and principle feast days, we visit various apostolates to sing Gregorian chant (Divine offices, Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, Holy Mass) or polyphonies; we always meet the faithful and let them learn more about our life as Adorers. We are always glad to receive prayer intentions from some, or updates on previous prayer intentions from others, or to meet in person faithful whom we had known only by letters.

It is also a great joy for us to help serve the various spiritual retreats that our canons organize in their apostolates, outside of our own houses.

During summer camps or family days spent around children and young women, we introduce them to a little of our daily life (singing, embroidery, cooking, catechism, visiting the sick or elderly, etc.).

Given that the question of a possible religious vocation is less and less considered by today's youth, pilgrimages are an opportunity to show and explain the religious life to those who desire it.
