House of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary
On November 1, 2019, we had the immense grace of opening our first house in the United States, in Wausau, Wisconsin. Three of our American sisters have returned to their homeland for this new convent. The Bishop of La Crosse, H.E.R. Bishop William Callahan invited us to his diocese, in particular to pray for him, for his diocese, for vocations and for families. He himself came on this beautiful feast of All Saints' Day to bless the house, its chapel, and the wax reproduction of the Infant Mary from the sanctuary of Milan. It is this representation of the Infant Mary which is at the origin of the name of the house, the Convent of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. |

The faithful of Wausau have done everything possible to ensure that the sisters arrive in a house that was as well equipped as possible, and it is the faithful who built and prepared the chapel and the altar. |
