It is always a great joy and a source of edification for us to be in the presence of sisters who have so many religious years behind them. Here, the Hospital Sisters of Delémont... at whose feet we regularly come to sing some Christmas carols...Our Infant Jesus clothed in priestly vestments......a printed fabric from the Ivory Coast with the effigy of Christ the KingOpening Christmas gifts that had been offered to the Sisters: among others, a tray with the arms of the Institute…Followed by some traditional Christmas carols...and flute...recorder...Piano concert...Preparing the buffet for the festive dinner on December 25th.Aperitif and lunch with our guests and the sisters’ familiesMass on Christmas day..... and the abbéThe lessons of Matines are sung by the Canon...Before Christmas MatinsHermence-Marie, accompanied by her older sister, spent the day of December 23rd with the sisters, preparing to make her First Communion which will take place during the Midnight Mass.
