Deo gratias!The days had ample time for outdoor running games and free time, followed by a nightly campfireAnother young lady figured out how to use the same techniques to make a turtle!A new technique for the basket's handle that a young lady discoveredMany girls loved working on their corded creationsAnd the older girlsSome of the pieces made by the younger campersThe other activity were creations made out of cord and yarn, such as coasters, bowls, or basketsOne activity was bead embroidery on fabric that they sewed into rosary pouchesAll of the campers dedicated about two hours a day on developing their craft projectsEvery day, the younger girls’ camp and the teen camp (seen here) have spiritual talks given by the Canons or one of the sistersThe sisters explain to the girls that they will be learning singing pieces in three-part harmony which will be sung at the Solemn High Mass on the last dayAfter Holy Mass, the day begins with the raising of the flagsDaily Mass at camp in the church at Burlington, the new retreat center in the United States, which has not yet been renovatedBefore the start of camp, the sisters joyfully gather together to learn the craft projects that the girls will be doing
