Rainwater infiltration in a hallway and in a novice's roomMany other roofs need to be redoneThanks to the donations received, we have been able to carry out a number of projectsWe do the work ourselves whenever possible. The chapter room was repainted by seminarians...after a company had redone some of the plastering......and the ceiling (about 2 sq meters) which had fallen one day...The work began with the exterior church entryway and was carried out by a seminarian helped by some parishionersWindows on the second floor repainted......by the sisters during the fine weatherUnfortunately, much work remains to be done... This terrace, located above the cloister, lets in infiltrations…...which has caused considerable damageThis room had already been repainted by a seminarian and SUF workers last summer and there was no infiltrationThe waterproofing of the terrace, which also serves as ceiling, is very old and needs to be completely redoneThe room intended for our sewing workshop also shows new infiltrations after torrential rains in December and January...for the same reasonsA window in the classroom was blown out by the storm and needs to be replacedand the room was flooded!
